Responsibilities
- Providing legal counsel and guidance to various departments within the organisation.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Conducting legal research and analysis on relevant laws and regulations.
- Identifying and mitigating potential legal risks to the organisation.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Managing legal disputes and litigation, if necessary.
- Collaborating with external legal counsel as required.
- Staying up-to-date on legal developments and best practices.
- Providing training and education to employees on legal matters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognised university.
- Qualified to practise law in Saudi Arabia (or eligible for licensure).
- Significant post-qualification experience in a corporate legal environment.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian law, particularly in areas relevant to the company's operations.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High level of professional ethics and integrity.
