Job Summary
The Sales Manager will lead Tap&Eat’s sales efforts, driving the acquisition of new restaurant partners to grow our platform’s reach. This role involves setting sales targets, managing a team of Sales Executives, and building a robust CRM pipeline to ensure consistent lead conversion. The Sales Manager will collaborate with marketing to refine strategies and provide critical feedback to enhance lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and set achievable sales targets for the sales team to meet Tap&Eat’s growth objectives.
- Manage and mentor a team of four Sales Executives, overseeing their daily activities and performance.
- Build, maintain, and optimize the CRM pipeline using Trello to track leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Oversee contract finalization with restaurant partners and coordinate seamless handovers to the Client Success team.
- Provide actionable feedback to the Marketing team to improve lead quality and campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on sales KPIs, including lead conversion rates and revenue growth, to the COO.
- Foster strong relationships with restaurant owners and decision-makers to secure long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with the COO to align sales strategies with Tap&Eat’s operational and financial goals.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B SaaS, hospitality, or technology startup environment.
- 1+ years in a sales leadership or management role, with a proven track record of managing teams.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Trello, HubSpot, or similar) to manage pipelines and track performance.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide Sales Executives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to close deals and build client relationships.
- Analytical mindset to monitor KPIs and provide data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with the restaurant or hospitality industry is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
