Vision Source, a leading Collection and Contact Centre Company, is seeking a meticulous and experienced General Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This is a Full-Time position based in our Giza, Egypt office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities

* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
* Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
* Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with established standards.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
* Ensure compliance with local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
* Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
* Liaise with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.

Qualifications
 

minimum one year of experience in the same position
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
* Proven experience working as a General Accountant or in a similar role.
* In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping procedures.
* Excellent proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
* Experience with accounting software packages is highly desirable.
* Strong analytical skills with an exceptional eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
* A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) or progress towards one would be a significant advantage.
