Job description:
Responsibilities of a Pollution Control Officer
Monitoring and Reporting
- Environmental Aspects and Impacts: Identify significant environmental aspects and impacts of operational activities and recommend possible mitigating measures.
- Permitting and Registration: Attend to all permitting and registration requirements prior to the construction or operation of pollution sources and control facilities.
- Quarterly Reports: Submit Self-Monitoring Reports (SMRs) and Compliance Monitoring Reports (CMRs) periodically.
- Incident Reporting: Report any environmental incidents or exceedances in effluent and/or emission standards within a stipulated time frame.
Qualifications – Pollution Control Officer (PCO)
- Accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (preferred)
- Knowledgeable in environmental laws, DENR regulations, and pollution control standards
- Willing to conduct fieldwork and site inspections.
- Willing to relocate at Cabantian, Davao City
