Call Center Agent
Job Overview
Cumberland Christian School is seeking a professional and compassionate Call Centre Agent to join our dedicated administrative team. This is a FULL_TIME position based in Texas City, Texas, United States, supporting our school's mission to provide an outstanding Christian education to families in South Jersey. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many members of our community, and as such, must embody our core values of academic excellence and spiritual growth. This role is crucial in ensuring that parents, students, and prospective families receive timely and helpful information in a manner that reflects our supportive, faith-based environment. The offered compensation is between $35.00 - $49.00 USD per hour.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the first point of contact by managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.
* Provide accurate information to parents, students, and the public regarding school programmes, admission processes, events, and general policies.
* Direct enquiries efficiently to the appropriate faculty, staff, or department.
* Maintain detailed and accurate records of all communications within our school's database.
* Conduct follow-up calls to prospective families and support enrolment initiatives.
* Assist with administrative duties, including data entry and communication scheduling, as required.
* Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
* Uphold the Christian values and professional standards of Cumberland Christian School in every interaction.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a call centre, customer service, or administrative support role.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a clear, professional telephone manner.
* Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or database systems.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* An understanding of and alignment with the mission and values of a Christian educational institution is highly desirable.
