Job Overview
A-Better Heat & Air Conditioning is a leading, Oklahoma-based contractor with over 40 years of experience providing expert heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions. We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Cashier to join our professional team. This is a Full-Time position based in Oklahoma and Pennsylvania, United States.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, managing all payment transactions and providing outstanding administrative support. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellent service and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The offered salary for this position is $29,000 - $41,000 USD per annum, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities
* Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner upon their arrival.
* Process customer payments for services and products accurately and efficiently, handling cash, card, and other forms of payment.
* Issue receipts, refunds, or credits to customers as required.
* Answer incoming telephone calls, provide information, and direct enquiries to the appropriate department or technician.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception and checkout area.
* Reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
* Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and helping to schedule service appointments.
* Communicate effectively with both customers and our team of certified technicians.

Qualifications
* Proven work experience as a Cashier or in a similar customer service or sales role.
* Strong numeracy skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a professional demeanour.
* Familiarity with electronic equipment, such as cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
* Solid computer literacy, including proficiency in basic office software.
* The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
* GCSEs in English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications, are desirable.
