Clerical & Administrative Assistant
Job Summary:
The Clerical & Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our organization. This role involves handling correspondence, managing schedules, maintaining records, and assisting with various administrative tasks remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and organize emails, phone calls, and correspondence
Schedule appointments, meetings, and conference calls
Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations
Maintain and update electronic and paper filing systems
Handle data entry and database management
Assist in coordinating virtual meetings and events
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Support team with miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an administrative or clerical assistant, receptionist, or similar role
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a suitable home office setup
Prior experience in a remote work environment is a plus
Requirements:
Must be located in Canada
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
Availability to work during standard Canadian business hours
