Job Overview
Lawrence Hall, a distinguished non-profit human services organisation founded in 1865, is seeking a dedicated and professional Virtual Assistant to join our team. This is a Full-Time, remote position supporting our mission to help children, youth, and families heal from the effects of trauma. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support, playing a vital role in the smooth and efficient operation of our programmes. Key Responsibilities
* Manage and maintain executive calendars, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events.
* Handle professional correspondence, including managing email inboxes and responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
* Prepare and format documents, reports, and presentations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Perform data entry and maintain organisational databases and filing systems, ensuring all information is current and confidential.
* Conduct online research to support various projects and organisational initiatives.
* Assist in the coordination of virtual meetings and events, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
* Provide general administrative support to various departments as required, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar administrative role.
* Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanour.
* High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other common virtual collaboration tools.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning as a key member of a remote team.
* A resourceful and proactive approach to problem-solving.
* Absolute discretion and a commitment to handling sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
* Experience or a strong interest in the non-profit or human services sector is highly desirable.
Compensation
* An hourly wage between $18 - $35 USD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
