We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly organised individual to join our team as a Remote Typist Clerk. This is a full-time, permanent position, offering the flexibility to work from home.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our daily operations by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of company documentation. This position is ideal for a proactive professional with excellent typing skills and a keen eye for detail. This role offers a competitive hourly salary of $45 - $60 USD.

 

Responsibilities

• Accurately type and format a variety of documents, including reports, technical specifications, and internal correspondence.
• Transcribe information from audio recordings and handwritten notes into digital formats with precision.
• Perform high-volume data entry into our databases and systems, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all records.
• Meticulously proofread and edit documents to correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
• Organise, manage, and maintain digital files and records in a systematic and accessible manner.
• Uphold strict confidentiality when handling sensitive company and client information.
• Provide general administrative support to various departments as required.

 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a typist, data entry clerk, or similar administrative role.
• Exceptional typing speed and a high degree of accuracy are essential.
• Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A strong command of the English language with outstanding spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with a proven capacity to meet deadlines.
• The self-discipline and motivation to work effectively in a remote, independent setting.
• Familiarity with industrial or engineering terminology is advantageous but not essential.
