About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Specialist to join a Cotton Spinning company in Alexandria. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing Free Zone logistics operations, particularly dealing with GAFI, NAFEZA, and ACID, as well as comprehensive knowledge of import and export procedures.
This role requires someone who can independently manage logistics documentation, government procedures, and day-to-day coordination related to Free Zone operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all logistics documentation and official procedures related to Free Zone operations and GAFI.
Handle end-to-end import and export procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Manage NAFEZA and ACID procedures and documentation.
Prepare and process key Free Zone documents, including:
Work orders
Export certificates
Commercial invoices
Other customs and logistics documentation
Coordinate with GAFI and relevant government authorities on Free Zone-related matters.
Handle procedures related to deductions and collections within Free Zone operations.
Ensure all logistics documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
Coordinate with internal teams, customs, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth shipments and clearance.
Maintain proper records and documentation throughout the logistics cycle.
Stay up to date with relevant import, export, customs, and Free Zone regulations.
Requirements
3+ years of relevant experience in logistics, with strong hands-on experience in Free Zone operations.
Proven experience dealing with GAFI and Free Zone procedures.
Strong knowledge of NAFEZA and ACID.
Solid understanding of end-to-end import and export procedures.
Practical experience handling Free Zone documentation and government-related processes.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Very good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
Professional, communicative, and presentable.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple logistics processes simultaneously.
