Job Overview

Freyssinet Saudi Arabia (FSA), a leading general contractor established in 1978, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled MEP Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. Since our inception, FSA has successfully delivered numerous turnkey projects across Saudi Arabia, transitioning from a specialist in pre-stressed concrete to a renowned contractor for major civil works, including building complexes, hospitals, industrial projects, and commercial centres. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) aspects of our large-scale construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

 

• Lead and manage all MEP-related activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design and procurement to installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for all MEP works, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering and construction teams to ensure seamless project integration.
• Oversee the preparation and review of MEP technical submittals, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Manage MEP project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to optimise efficiency and control costs.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to quality standards, and enforce strict health and safety regulations.
• Identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues, providing expert guidance and innovative solutions to the project team.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports on MEP activities, highlighting key milestones, risks, and financial performance.

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success as a Project Manager, with extensive experience managing MEP systems for large-scale building or civil infrastructure projects.
• In-depth technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire-fighting, and electrical systems.
• Strong understanding of relevant building codes, technical standards, and regulations within Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and standard office applications.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous.
