Murphy Painters, Inc., a leading Florida-based painting company, is seeking a meticulous and efficient Remote Typist Clerk to join our team on a full-time basis. Specialising in high-quality commercial and residential painting projects, we are dedicated to exceptional service and superior craftsmanship. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the accuracy of our documentation and the smooth running of our operational processes. This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in the United States.


Responsibilities


 

• Accurately transcribe documents from various sources, including audio files and handwritten notes.
• Perform data entry tasks, updating and maintaining company databases and client records with precision.
• Prepare, format, and proofread a variety of documents such as reports, correspondence, and invoices.
• Organise and manage digital filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of information.
• Handle general clerical tasks as required to support the wider team and contribute to office efficiency.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive company and client information.

Qualifications


 

• Proven experience in a typist, administrative assistant, or data entry role.
• Exceptional typing speed and accuracy, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent command of the English language, including outstanding grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; further qualifications in office administration are a plus.
• Experience within the construction or trade services industry is desirable but not essential.
